Once, when I was riding my bike near this place, a vengeful man in a pick-up truck nearly ran me off the road. Another time, two guard dogs came tearing down a private driveway, growling, teeth bared. A well placed kick by a friend who knew tae kwon doe fended off the attack. The serenity of this idyllic little landscape can be so deceptive.
