From the time I joined Construct in 1996, we had worked on numerous VRML projects targeted for end-use on SGI's VRML Cosmo Player Interface. As we had such extensive experience as technical and creative developers for VRML content, we were the obvious choice for the redesign of the SGI cosmo player interface.c o n c e p t: The player interface needed to become less "techy", and more accessible for the average internet user. The concept of a consumer device, part joy stick, part tv remote, part cell phone, was embraced as the goal of the new interface.
